My mission is to make the cannabis plant accessible and approachable to all, so the next generation can heal their body and liberate their minds.
I am Harold Han, an emulsion chemist by training, a founder by choice, and an advocate by calling.
My Ph.D. studied one of nature's fundamental tensions: oil and water, and how to bring them into unison. That became the metaphor for my life, bridging things that naturally could not coexist.
I grew up in East Asian culture where cannabis was a warning, something that could ruin your life. I believed it, until cannabis found me anyway, and asked me to represent her in a credible and approachable way. So I said yes.
I co-founded Vertosa, whose emulsion technology now powers the majority of the cannabis beverage market. I founded PhytoRX to unlock the plant's full therapeutic potential.
People call me The Happy Chemist, and that comes from witnessing our work truly bring happiness, healing, and liberation to people. This boosts our self-love and empathy for others.
All of it keeps arriving at the same question: who are we, and who are we becoming. That led me to Phytognosis, a philosophy of using plant medicine to find our inner awakening. It is the book of my life. And the life I am living.
